The Spalding Paradox

The people with the most to gain from weak AI rules are writing them. We file the counter. We build the exit.

Entities with the greatest commercial interest in minimal AI regulation dominate the governance conversation. 8GI does two things about it. We file submissions to the legislatures considering AI, from outside that capture. And we build the alternative: free, local, sovereign infrastructure, so the exit is real, not rhetorical.
